LineViewer Picture Analysis

LineViewer is a software that helps breeders quickly determine and localize crop varieties through picture information. Through the image information collected by Seida, the user can analyze the two dimensions of space and time of the variety under testing, along with the raw data, R, PRISM, GGEBiplot (Canada) analysis data, the selection effect is more precise and efficient.

Observation during growth season

For breeders, the performance of the varieties/lines during the growing season is very important. What kind of potential risks exists in what ecological zone at which stage must be very clear to seed companies.

By clicking any picture of any location at any stage of growth, users can carefully view the picture information, zoom in and out, and so on. In this highly recommended dual-screen display, the image following is a summary of the data analysis, and the image in right shows the picture information for each stage.

Each trait performance of the same species is differently in each location

The specific manifestation of a trait in a certain stage of growth of the same material will vary at each location under testing, and users can click on each trait based on location or ecological area.

Variety Comparison

In the final selection of variety localization, breeder will do comparison for breeding lines, competitive varieties, potential popular varieties, mature product. LineViewer helps breeders to do comparison for each testing location at each growth stage, finding out the advantages and disadvantages of the two varieties, for more accurate localization decision of seed market.

The double-screen displaying will be the better choice. The left side is the pictures of the variety susceptible to Northern Leaf Blight disease, and the right side is the pictures of the variety resistant to the Northern Leaf Blight disease.
